Homiletics Lab 1

 

Description

In this 8-week course we will be introducing students to the processes and heart posture associated with preparing and presenting a sermon. Students will be able to hear from and converse with experienced preachers. Students will also be introduced to practical and spiritual concepts related to the craft of the oral presentation of the Bible.

Lab-based courses require live attendance and a commitment to independent work. Students will required to present sermons live through Zoom.

* Please note that this class is LIVE ONLY. Live participation is required for all lab-based courses because interactivity is critical to the final grade.

Course Level: Elective - 1 Credit Hour   

August 18th - October 13th (Quarter 1)

Location: Annex West & Live Online // Time: Sundays, 6:30pm CST

Prerequisites: The Foundations series of classes (Foundations 1, 2, and 3 and Freshman Orientation); Introduction to Homiletics
