Why Biblical Counseling?

Churches are full of hurting people: those who have had traumatic experiences, who are stuck in addictive behavior, who are working through grief and other complex emotions as well as people who are struggling with relational conflict. Ministers who are proficient in God’s word and a method for counseling have the ability to make a serious impact on the health and discipleship of a local church.

The Living Faith Bible Institute Biblical Counseling Certificate program will teach students the theology associated with being a biblical counselor and equips the Christian to care for others by studying the many ways sin affects the human experience. This course of study is built to train the counselor in a methodology that focuses on addressing root sins and the behavioral cycles they produce. We believe these courses will prepare any biblical minister to better prepared in the ministry of reconciliation and discipleship.
