Servant Leadership

Description

The book of Mark presents Jesus as Servant. This course explores “servant leadership” primarily using Mark 8-11. We will “walk with Jesus and His disciples” by examining His messages to them regarding leading and following.

We will learn that leadership in the church is different than leadership in the world. Leaders in the church are to be leaders and servants, not leaders or servants. We ought to learn to serve God and lead others to do the same.

SUMMER SELF-PACE ONLINE: Student learning will be self-guided. Each lecture and quiz taken unlocks the next lecture and quiz. This allows the student to pace themselves through the content between the dates associated with the course. All major projects and assignments can be submitted at any time between the dates of the course. All assignments have a hard end date of August 2nd @ 11:59 pm CST.
