Introduction to Old Testament 1
Description
The Introduction to the Bible courses are a survey focused on the history and writings of both the Old and New Testaments of God’s Word. The course will include a brief survey of all of the books of the Bible and the general outline of the contents of the major text and teachings of these books.
Topics explored will include the historical context, the application of the Scriptures today, pictures, types, prophecies, key features, and the dispensational truth contained within the text of God’s Word.
We will see how the books are organized, allowing the student to visualize the overall plan of God for the earth, mankind, and eternity.
Intro to OT 1 covers the books of Genesis to Proverbs
Students may begin any Bible Survey course at any point in the 4-course cycle.
SUMMER SELF-PACE ONLINE: Student learning will be self-guided. Each lecture and quiz taken unlocks the next lecture and quiz. This allows the student to pace themselves through the content between the dates associated with the course. All major projects and assignments can be submitted at any time between the dates of the course. All assignments have a hard end date of August 2nd @ 11:59 pm CST.
