Paul warns repeatedly in the epistles of false teachers and fables intended to lead people astray. In this first quarter course, World Religions & Cults, is intended to give students an overview of the major false religions and cults in our world today.

Some philosophies to discuss include: Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Mormonism and related sects, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Spiritism & Witchcraft as well as other contemporary heretical teachings.
